M's Japan OrchestraThe strength of men, the gorgeousness of woman, the dynamism of Taiko drum and the sensitivity of Tsugaru Shamisen. Our performance will give you courage and inspiration. Here is the Japanese contemporary unit from Michinoku (Tohoku region) to the world - M's Japan Orchestra. Producer, Mitsuaki Sato had been dreaming of a concept of Polyphonic Orchestra with Japanese instrument. His concept came true as Iki Allstar Japanese Drum Orchestra at the 15th Annual Jozenji street Jazz Festival in Sep 2005. Nameshida Oni Keubai - Japanese significant intangible folk cultural asset - gave us historical opportunity to play together in 2006. Later on we released a piece called "History of the Earth" which would lead us to the future and received great feedback widely. We did a performance together with top artist from Bali Art Center when we were invited to Indonesia Bali Art Festival 2006 (PKB2006).This was the opportunity to announce officially as "M's Japan Orchestra". It was an honor to play for the president of Indonesia and we made a successful performance at PKB2006 with 3000 audience.Following Japan tour drew a full house every day and received high reputation. We went into headlines as well as on TV. The TV program in Jan 2007 was about our national tour and we got a lot of great feedback. To cerebrate Mitsuaki Sato who had written more than 100 pieces, we played "History of the Earth" together with many famous musicians including Jiro Oma (ex-member of "Off course") and Hitoshi Minowa (ex-member of "Hound Dog") in Oct 2006.That one-of-a-kind collaboration received acclaim, and moved audience to tears. We performed at Hokkaido in Aug 2007 and the special live for Youth group of Central Federation of Societies of Commerce and Industry National congress in Oct. The next performance will be in Miyagi Seikyo Coop Cultural concert in Apr 2008 - people are starting to recognize our high quality performance.
