J. Cash is a three-year-old, heart worm positive Bloodhound mix. He is shy, but does well with other dogs.

“J. Cash is a special pup who needs special care. He’s very shy and anxious. He came to us with his brother,”  shelter employee Sonny Rosales said. “Once his brother left, he got very sad and stopped eating. He needs gentle touch and maybe a friend to help him remember how to be a dog again.”

Wilma is a Domestic Short Hair, who is curious and loves to explore. She is 11 months old.

“(She’s) a very loving cat,” employee Connie Guerrero said. “She’s so vivacious and just an awesome cat.”

Sophie is an eight-year-old, old soul. She loves to be petted and take naps.

“Sophie’s our little grandma. When the other dogs are being noisy, she’ll bark ‘you kids quiet down!’ and then goes to take a nap. It’s adorable,” employee Jacob Sanchez said.

Mama is a Domestic Short Hair. She loves to sneak around and sometimes tries to dart for the door.

“Mama is so vocal,” Guerrero said.

Klaus is a hyper, 11-month-old puppy. He loves to play and would be great with an active home.

“Klaus is just a puppy so he’s really hyper and energetic. He’ll require some patience and training since he’s young,” employee Sonny Rosales said.

Megan is a lovable, Domestic Medium Hair. She is not a fan of other cats, but likes to be held.

“Megan is a lovebug,” Guerrero said.

Christmas is a playful, heart worm positive pup. She is a big fan of being pet, but not always the biggest fans of other dogs and will need some training.

“She’s so beautiful, she could win a pageant,”  Sanchez said.

Autumn Breeze

Autumn Breeze is a Domestic Short Hair who loves to play. She is a very curious kitty. “She’s very playful and loves to play with her toys,” Guerrero said.

Bailey is a sweet, Labrador retriever. She can be a little shy, but needs to be in a home without animals or kids.

“She needs time to get to know people. She likes her space and can be independent at times, but does know some commands, sit, down, shake, and high five,” Rosales said.
